In 2012 I changed over to ADT security. A while after changing over I realised my security system does not work. On numerous occassions I arrived home to find my alarm going off and without any response from ADT. I contacted them and asked them to have a look at their radio transmitter as the signal was not reaching them. They sent out a technician who replaced the radio and the system was up and running.
On arrival I found a tax invoice from ADt for services rendered = R388-14.When I questioned ADT they could not answer me. The radio is their property and should be under warrentee, if the signal does not work they need to sort it out. further this they charged me for checking my other PIR's with various problems. I confronted ADT and asked them why the entire system was not checked when they took it over and the response was that they should have. They promised to remove the charges as they were at fault. I still receive a invoice 6 months later and can not speak to anyone as their system is computerised and am kept waiting for someone to answer, but after 15 minutes this becomes to much. I have spoken to the then branch manager at Vredenburg 'Percy" who made promises.
