My daughter was sexually harassed at John Dory's Shelly Centre in front of 2 staff members and they did nothing to help her namely because the offender was a black man and she was a young indian female and the 2 staff members were also black. I hate that this is how i am having to refer to the incident that occurred by using the above language. However that is the only way to describe everyone present. My daughter had to leave John Dorys and stand at Spur and the guy whom she did not know followed her. It was a Spur that they questioned the guy allowing my daughter to leave with her food that she purchased from John Dorys. Still at this stage John Dory's staff did not try and intervene seeing that she was waiting for her meal from that store. The lady at Spur even called my daughter on her cell after she left to ensure that she reached her car safely and was home safe.
Is this how John Dory's treat their paying patrons, with utter disrespect because of her race, did they feel that it was right to witness what they did and did nothing about it. What if he followed her, abducted her and raped her, who would be liable for her safety. Who would give us answers???
This is absolutely unacceptable
I am going to seek legal recourse against the staff of John Dory's that witnessed this incident and did nothing about it especially in this month of August being womens month.
How disgusting
