My informed Installment is R350 the debit on the 1st Nov= R556.59- called to confirm- the banana at the other end of the line told me its an annual fee/increase etc.- bear in mind I'm a new client and was supposed to be informed of all the costs upon signing the contract, when I asked why I was not informed, the answer I got was "the sales agents don't normally tell the clients because they want to make the sale desperately"- no Shame. Double debit in January 2014 the excuse = They never debited me for the month of December, how that is my problem... I haven't a clue. Now I am strapped for cash being January and all... but no, CHUBB will deduct whenever the they feel. The National credit act says, all clients must be given proper advice to make an informed decision- had I known about all the costs involved with CHUBB I would never have signed the contract! I am going straight to the OMBUDSMAN with this complaint.
