Why did you not debit on the correct date???

I've been with Chubb for a while now, and haven't had any major issues. My debit day is the 25th of every month. I didn't notice that Chubb hadn't debited my account on 25 November; I don't check my statements all the time. I assumed that it had gone off. Then I get bank notification that Chubb tried to debit my account on 12 December. The 12th? Two weeks after it was supposed to go off? Really Chubb? That debit order was unpaid and bank has charged me for the unpaid debit order. I want someone to explain to me why the debit order only went off on 12/12 and not 25/11 AS AGREED. I also want Chubb to refund those unpaid debit order fees! This is ridiculous, really! Why did Chubb not stick to our agreement?
