Can you believe that a product that's been installed a year ago never actually worked in the first place? You can when you install new, improved, faulty security beams with the company that wants your money but only provides useless service, the one called ADT.
I had outdoor security beams installed in Feb last year (invoice 749179) and all these beams ever do is give false alarms. Several attempts and months later (invoices 752828, 752824 and 297773), and they're still giving false alarms.
So last week I demanded that the beams be replaced under warranty, but instead they sent out a technician to my house last week. I thought he might have fixed the problem (after making several adjustments to the beams), but today my alarm has gone off FIVE TIMES. Clearly the adjustments didn't work. Why am I paying for something that never worked in the first place?
If ADT didn't have such a vice grip on the local security market in my area, I'd be long gone.
More importantly, what is the next step for me? Public protector? Suicide?
Please help if anyone is listening, because ADT clearly doesn't.
