Zeqteq installed a Paradox alarm in my house worth more than R15000. Since day one the system was not working correctly. Quinton of Zeqteq identified the armed response radio to be faulty. At a fee I cot them out to check the radio but nothing was wrong with the radio. They identified a faulty board. Zeqteq took it back to Spectrum (the agents) where they tested the board and found nothing wrong and issued him a report supporting their finding. Quinton reinstalled the board and it still did not work he and Spectrum insisted it was the radio.
I then got a independent company to support their claim also at a fee but he also blamed the radio.
I then cot the security company out to change the radio with no result it was the board. They now replaced the brand new tested board with another and the system for the first time in 2 months worked.
I phoned Spectrum my self 4 times to complain with no joy. Zeqteq blames them and refuses to refund or replace the board because he took back the board 2 times 90km from his place of work at his cost and he has 2 letters stating that nothing is wrong with the equipment.
Spectrum/Paradox refuses to take any responsibility. I now paid twice for a ala
