On Saturday, 26 January, while shopping close to my home, I received a call from ADT that the alarm at my house has been Activated. I received the call at 17:18. I told ADT to send a response vehicle to my house ASAP. They would send a response vehicle and keep me informed, I was told.
We got to our house at 17:27 (almost 10 minutes after the call) and the response vehicle was not at my house.
For fear of someone being in my house, we waited outside and did not enter the house.
At 17:45 I made a call to ADT and was told to hold for the control room. I hung up after about 3 minutes of waiting.
My wife phoned the same number at 17:50 and spoke to a lady in the control room and asked where the response vehicle was. She could not be given an answer.
We entered the house out of shear frustration and I decided to test ADT. I pressed the PANIC button at about 17:55 and still no call from ADT, nothing. I phoned ADT again at about 18:05 and blew my lid.
The manager was supposed to phone me back on Saturday which did not happen.
The Response car was finally sent to my house and arrived at 18:11.
ADT arrived 53 MINUTES after my alarm activated.
And if someone attacked us???
