I fitted a netstar product into my vehicle. My vehicle got written off and I informed netstar. They were supposed to get their units out of the totalled vehicle but ignored my notification. I purchased a new vehicle and wanted to transfer the account to my new vehicle. They asked where the units were and I told them that they should be in possession as I informed them. Netstar now wants me to pay an extravagant cancellation fee and create a new account and enter another ridiculously termed contract. I refuse to pay the cancellation fee because it was their people that did not respond to my notification to get the units out of the damaged vehicle. I now still have to pay monthly premiums to a product that I don't have. Surely they can add some kind of insurance to their premiums to cover for lost or damaged units. (Now I am their insurance that the unit will be paid). If there are other tracking companies out there that provide this service, please get in touch).
