We had a unit installed in one of our vehicles. It got sold & we had to cancel our unit. Only then we were informed it was on a 3yr contract & a settlement applies. Long story, it got sorted out! Then we had a new unit installed in our new car at which they told me the contract period is 3yrs. This car got sold too. This time I knew there would be a settlement amount, because of the 3yr contract. Thats what got sold to me. But, phoning now to cancel (as the new owners dont want it) & trying to arrange a new unit, they tell me there are infact other options less than 3yrs. Why wasnt I given the 3 options with my current unit? I would've def not gone for a 3yr option if there are options for less. I was fine having to pay the settlement amount, but that was before I knew about the other options. How can you sell me something, but only give me 1 option when there are 3.I was told the time period is 3yrs... was this because there are incentives in place when people buy a 3yr contract??? Honestly, I wasnt given the option & there are other options - WHY MUST I PAY THE SETTLEMENT WHEN THE STAFF AT NETSTAR GIVES ME FALSE INFORMATION.I mean, this isnt how you do business. How must people trust you???
