I had Netstar in my GTI for about 4 months when i decided to replace my car with a new one. Called insurance and they sorted it out for me. I was then told by netstar that they were going to leave the unit in the GTI and fit a new one in the Focus. Why not just transfer the unit if its a contract??? Laigan the consultant told me that there is a cancellation fee invoved which i thought was unfair because i wanted the unit transfered. R640 and some change was quoted to cancel the current contract. I then said i was not interested then. Then he came back to me saying he could discount the cancellation fee to R420. I get my invoice now and its still the full cancellation fee as well as i am paying for the GTI again this month. I cancelled the GTI unit a month ago!!! Really guys your service is really poor!!! I have been on this since the 20th April 2013 and its the 30th April 2013 now and still no joy!!! If this is the service that Netstar gives their customers i would rather go back to tracker as i never had any hassles with them.
