I have been trying to cancel my SERVICE CONTRACT with ADT since Thursday 12 September 2013.
I have received terrible service from ADT from the word go. I have written in endless complaints to Hello Peter, the area manager usually calls me back to try and sort my issues out.
I have been asking since Tuesday 8 October 2013 for a copy of my contract as I was never given a copy. ADT is telling me they refuse to cancel my SERVICE CONTRACT as I have only been with them 4 months of the 2 years I signed for.
I spoke to a lady last week who told me there is nothing they can do about the cancellation unless I pay a fee of R2160.00 to cancel as this was worked on a 30% charge for the remaining contract term balance.
My fight is I don't think its fair that I am expected to pay this fee as I am paying for a "service" which I am not receiving.
The lady who I spoke to told me "in her opinion" that only having phoned in with 2 complaints, is not enough for me to cancel? I feel a complaint is a complaint regardless how many you put through. This is my 5th complaint on Hello Peter about ADT so all in all they now have 7!
Can a HIGH manager please contact me to sort this problem out
