I had a system installed by ADT in 2010, Got a quote to install a new sensor and to move a " pet friendly" beam from the back where it was always triggered by the pet to the front, on the 17th April 2013, deposit was paid then.
The person came one week later to do the installation with a whole new kit instead of the sensor, he moved the sensor to the front but said he will have to come back with the sensor to complete the installation.
6 MONTHS later still no installation done!!
Multiple calls to the sales guy who gave me the quote, he escalated it but nothing yet.
The manager called me last week Wednesday, and I informed him about the issue and also that the sensor that was moved needs to be a bit higher on the wall.
His response was that they will have to charge me to move the sensor and he will have to look into the paperwork to find out what was ordered " after I told him what needed to be installed" and will get back to me.
And one week later after his call, he still didn't bother to phone back or to even apologise for their incompetence in the first place.
I don't mind paying for a service but I do expect the service back if paid for.
