Tracetec was NOT able to locate our vehicle

On the 5th Septrember 2013 we thought our vehicle was from a street parking in Durban central, as it was not where it was parked. We phoned Tracetec at 9h48 and then the police. We probably heard from Tracetec again after 11h30, they had explanations about their systems etc. but they could not locate the vehicle.
We ourselves then traced the car, it was towed away by Durban Metro Police and in their posession. At that stage we were already in doubt about the abilities of Tracetec and decided to wait, to test them. I later on had to phone the police to inform them that we located the car. It was exactly one minute after I reported back to the police where we found the car, that Tracetec phoned me to say that they know where the car is. Tracetec clearly gets their info from the police radio systems!
We have contacted them to request for a refund but have not heard from them again.
The only acceptable response from them is: to have their unit removed from the car, with a full refund to us, because Tracetec could not locate our vehicle in Durban.
