I notified Tractec on the 1st August 2013 that I have sold my vehicle, and that I will be cancelling the service. As per the signed agreement, I have to give a calendar months notice. I received an email from Tracetec on the 6th, explaining that the agreement will be effective until 30 September 2013. I did give a calendar months notice, so the agreement should only be effective until 31 August 2013. They claim that there is a "20 day waiting period", and that my request was processed on the 5th of August. The "20 day waiting period" is not specified on the original agreement which I signed. If they were able to only process my request on the 5th, it is their problem, and provides some insight into the inefficiencies in their administrative systems.
