Januarie 2012 I received an email from Tracetec informing me that the tracking unit in my car is faulty and I had to pay for a new tracking device. I contacted Tracetec to cancel the service and was informed that I have to complete a cancellation form which I did. A couple months down the line I got a bill again from them informing me that I have not paid the account in a couple months. I phone Tracetec and was informed that they did not receive the cancellation. I asked how am I then being billed seeing that I did send the paperwork and the unit is faulty. I was informed to send the cancellation form again which i did.
In June 2013 I get another bill. Phoned Tracetec and spoke to Josi Chikondowa. She informs me that the person that I spoke to previously does not work for Tracetec anymore and I am liable for the amount of R1381.00. How can I be held liable for Tracetec employees not doing their work? I can I be charged for a service that I am not getting. I have resent the cancellation form to Josi but I am not getting anywhere.
Tracetec appears to be a bunch of trying to make money out of a service that can not be provided.
FOR THE LAST TIME TRACETEC... CANCEL THE ACCOUNT
