On Friday 10/05/2013 at approx 19h30 I was involved in an armed house at my home. Several household items as well as my vehicle was. I contacted Tracker to activate the system. Shortly thereafter I received a call from Tracker who transfered me to Insp Ngcobo from the Metro Police Dog Unit. He was very polite, and advise me that my vehicle had been recovered. He also advised me that my wallet, with credit cards, and cash had been recovered in the vehicle. He confirmed over the phone how much money I had in my wallet, told me which cards were in there etc. He also asked me how i would know it was my vehicle, whereby I gave him the necessary identifying marks. He then advised me that the vehicle would be towed to Wentworth SAPS for safekeeping and fingerprints. He gave me his contact number and said he would keep my personal effects with him until such time as he meets me at Wentworth. Insp Ngcobo and his crew, Constable Dlamini, were very friendly and assisted me in booking my vehicle in at the police, removing my personal effects, providing the relevant case numbers etc. We need more dedicated, friendly and competent police officers like Insp Ngcobo & Cst Dlamini.
