Lack of communication and bad service

After contacting Tracetec to change banking details near end of Dec 2012, i was told the debit order details had been changed & was lead to believe the double debit would come off my new account on 7th Jan 2013 as requested. However the double debit came off my old account & bounced costing me R138 per debit order in bank charges. When contacted the response was, due to the holidays the debit order run had already been loaded when i'd changed my details so it ran anyway, no one however told me this, i was even given the option at the time to pay it in cash, which also i have now been told would not have made a difference. Now due to their lack of comms and general attitude I am expected to carry those charges. When asked to refund me the charges as it wasn't my fault they bounced as i wasn't informed the debit order run had already been loaded, i was told that they wouldn't do this. i find this totally unacceptable, if they had told me it would run anyway off my old account i would have made provision for it. if this is how they treat their clients i no longer want them as a supplier. I doubt i'll even get a response to this cos quite frankly they don't care about their clients!
