I was away on holiday on the weekend of the 10/08/2013 when the tracking devise on my vehicle could not pick up the signal from the remote control. Thereafter, I started receiving calls from Altech Netstar notifying me that the panic button on my vehicle was off. I explained my situation to them and was advised to report the matter to customer service as soon as I got back home, which I did and was referred to their Bloemfontein branch. I immediately called them and was told that the technician was out of town but would contact me in the following week. That did not happen until after 14 days when I sent an email to Altech copying the two divisional directors in the company's head office.
The email response I got was that someone had called me and I should call him back. I called the office landline and was transferred to his cellphone line, but there was no answer. I left him a voice message, but up until today there has not been any response. The funny thing is up to now I still receive phones calls more than once a day telling me that my panic button is off. Even my insurance (Outsurance) have tried to intervene but there does not seem to be any sense of urgency from Altech.
