As a requirement from my insurance company I need confirmation from Altech Netstar that the tracking unit in my vehicle is a functional unit.
My husband called Altech on 24 May to get confirmation that the unit is functional. He was notified by the tracking department that they could not trace the unit & there is often difficulty if the vehicle is stationary. He was told it would be best to call Altech when the vehicle was moving. On 30 May I called Altech at 16:30 when leaving work. I was transferred between various departments for a total of 50 minutes. Eventually a consultant called me back. I explained what I required and he said he would check the unit and call me back by 17:45.It is now 4 days later and nobody has called me.
If I had been in extreme danger such as a hi-jacking & heaven forbid my daughter was in the vehicle with me - would Altech Netstar honestly be able to say they are still the "Leaders in Vehicle Tracking & Recover"???
Lack of Customer service which I experienced from the various departments was shocking & I definitely would not recommend them as a service provider.
