Aftersales service lacking

We had one of Maxidor's products installed on 8 Aug 13 (within 48 hrs as per Maxidor's red dot policy - well done!).

However, immediately after unpacking the product the installer noticed that the product did not have 3 rows/flights, but only 2. After discussing it with the technical manager and myself it was decided to install the product to at least have some form of security, but that I should contact Maxidor on Monday to arrange for it to be replaced.

On Monday I was advised that the matter has been referred back to the sales consultant who will address the issue. No word from him on Monday. Late on Tuesday I contacted him to find out what's happening - he agreed he would visit my home on Wednesday morning to come see for himself what the issue was. Wednesday he didn't arrive nor let us know that he couldn't make it. On Wednesday evening again I contacted him. He explained he had a family emergency to deal with, but acknowledged he should have been in contact. Now Thursday and Friday I haven't heard from or seen him again. It's been 10 days and the matter still hasn't been dealed with!

It feels like a case of "we've got your money, so we don't care about you anymore"
