I recently moved into a home in Ferndale and we decided to choose ADT as they are prominent in the neighbourhood. I ordered a Gate Key Pad and paid an amount of R1193. I was not aware that the property I purchased, already had one installed. The ADT Technician made me aware of this when he came in to set up the system on the 1st July 2013. I then informed on 2nd July the ADT to refund me the amount of R1193 as we already had a system in place and we did not need to install the system.
I have since called almost every day requesting my refund, whilst ADT debits my account every month. I have been told that the accounts department will handle the refund but its been more than a month and a half.
I'm still waiting for my refund. It is so disappointing to be treated in this manner from what is supposed to be a highly reputable company.
I want this resolved and my money refunded to me, I have already stated speaking to my friends and neighbors about the terrible service from ADT.
I will take this further should I not receive any refund within the next 3 working days!
