In February 2011, I cancelled my account with c-track, I was advised to send through an email to confirm this in order to stop the billing. The billing continued and thereafter I stopped my debit order. The consultants whom I dealt with advised me that once cancelled, the billing will stop.
It came to my attention that the billing was never stopped, and now they have allocated an attorney to recover monies from me for all the 'outstanding' months.
I have been fighting this cause with c-track for a long time now, and the consultants promised to cancel my account and write off the fees that were adding up once I sent them proof of my email in Feb 2011, which I have done, however the promises made were all empty and they did not do as they said they would.
I have proof of cancellation and advised them of time and dates of certain calls as well as consultants names that I have dealt with. They have clearly ignored my instruction in Feb 2011 and are now trying to get me to pay them money which I do not owe them.
Could someone please send me the information of the ombudsman who deals with these complaints, or perhaps a legal person or entity who can assist me?
