I cancelled my DSTV subscription late March and knew the process went too smoothly to be true.
I was told I was due a R300 odd refund because the account is paid in advance and I had cancelled before the next billing run so logically the difference is due to me because it is MY money and I NO longer want your service.
Just called to find out why I have not received my refund and guess what I am told... the account is kept in credit in case I reconnect, yeah right like I want to do that and if I do not reconnect i FORFEIT my own money.
This was not communicated to me when I cancelled, I was explicitly told I would receive a refund
Pls investigate and advise.
