Multichoice
Empty Promises

In mid September I called the call centre to cancel my DSTV subscription because I was re-locating. I spoke with Michael (ref: 139713727). I requested it be cancelled from 30/09/2013 and that no further debits were to be taken. On 01/10/2013 I was unpleasantly surprised to see a debit order for R692.72. I called again on 02/10/2013 and spoke to Sipho (ref: 141708441) and was advised that NOTHING was cancelled when I had called previously and that my services were still active. He apologised and assured that he had now done the cancellation. He said that I will be refunded within 7 days. Because of my lack of confidence with DSTV, I emailed on 08/10/2013 (ref: 4154046) to ask what is happening with my refund. I am still awaiting a response. I am still awaiting my refund and I am still not even sure that my subscription has been cancelled. I find this type of service absolutely shocking to say the least. As a consumer I feel that my request should have been actioned on my initial call. Having to constantly call and email to find out why MY money has not been refunded is unacceptable and I would like a VERY fast resolution to this! DSTV will certainly be my last luxury in future!!!
