Cancelled DSTV, cannot get refund

I cancelled my DSTV on the 3rd of May 2013 via their self service website. I have checked it a few times and it says that the DSTV account is inactive. (It does say that you need to deactivate drifta but, although I bought a drifta for my fianc? some time ago, this has been inactive and has not worked for almost a year).
I have cancelled my DSTV subscription because I cannot currently afford it (their price increase has rendered it impossibly expensive). I actually tried to cancel it in April, but the query I logged for assistance via their website was never answered.
Now I see that DSTV OWES me over R500 since I cancelled the DSTV and they have not paid me this money. Also, I switched on my TV a moment ago and suddenly DSTv is on again?? I refuse to pay for anything more since DSTV was cancelled on the 3rd of May 2013.
