I have had insurance on my decoder for the past 5 years paying premium without default. My decoder became faulty and I went to Edenvale agent to swap out. I was given a faulty decoder which I returned after which I told they were out of stock. I tried to complain to DSTV using the online channel as well as the email channel. Totally hopeless. I phoned the call centre for their insurance complaints and was told that I have to wait until they have stock. This just shows how unreliable policy is being sold. There is nobody from DSTV that seems to care a about this. I am telling everybody and spreading as much as I can that DSTV insurance is a BAD CHOICE. THEY ARE NOT GOING TO HONOUR THE POLICY AGREEMENT. Anyone can contact me and I will show the necessary proof.
