I am completely dissatisfied with the product and lack of support Multichoice offer with regard to their decoder replacement policies. I have the (silver) HD decoder which has now had to be replaced on 5 separate occasions in the past 4 years. Twice due to hardware issues and 3 times due to software issues.
I have no choice but to keep using and paying for the decoder insurance as this is so frequent and I then have to drive out of my way to the Multichoice offices in Randburg to perform the swaps and yet I am forced to take yet another replacement of what is clearly a faulty model of decoder and will no doubt need to be replaced in the near future again. This is unacceptable!
