Multichoice
Constant rebooting

On average now, our Multichoice signal, first freezes the screen and then automatically reboots. This takes any saved programme back to the start when rebooting is complete. My main problem here, is the Call centre. I don't know how they are trained, but all of them respond in much the same manner
1) Reboot-this despite the fact that the TV has just done this all of its own accord 2) Check Decoder cables-Done this ad infinitum
3) Lets try reboot again-Temper fraying now.
4) Several and equally total, failures to resolve problem
5) Bring it in to Multichoice for testing. Done that many times-never a problem found and a long way to the centre.
Did it never occur to them that somewhere in the Town centre might have been easier for access?
DSTV catch up and Box Office appear to be moribund

Now for some statistics.
In the last 365 days, there have been 132 pages on Hellopeter devoted to Multichoice.
30 lines per page gives 3960 complaints or over 100 per day
On each page an average of 2/3 complaints have eventually received a smiley face which gives us about 300 resolved.-7.5%.
Xmas wish? A reliable alternative
