I made the HUGE mistake of purchasing a DSTV Explora!
Foolishly, I actually looked forward to a new decoder advertised as "a PVR on steroids".
This actually makes me laugh, as since I purchased and installed it, I have called your call centre about 50 times trying to get this awesome new product to work.
I complained that it kept rebooting by itself every few seconds and my extra view (my initial primary decoder and PVR) was not showing (This is still the case)
I WASTED ABOUT R400 on telephone calls to Multichoice. Nobody was able to assist me and I was told this morning the bring the decoder in. I drove from Pretoria to Randburg to take it in and after trying once with a remote, the lady saw it kept rebooting by itself and immediately offered me a brand new decoder. She tested the brand new one for about 5 minutes and it was showing. She assured us no more problems, when we get home, we can plug it in and it will work. Of course, it's rebooting still. This is not a mistake on our side, as it was doing so at the service centre as well. If I knew this was going to me such a nightmare, I NEVER would have bought the Explora - BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE - NOW NOTHING IS WORKING!!!
