On Friday 6 December my husband and i went for some frozen yoghurt at the new smooch shop at lifestyle. We frequent the Silver Birch Restaurant because we always have a great meal with amazing service and the managers ensure your time there is wonderful, and we have had the owners pointed out to us before.
We were sitting in smooch when all of a sudden a raucous argument broke out. The woman owner was yelling at what seemed to be the general manager in front of the other staff. When he defended himself the male owner pushed him around and then punched him.
Now i don't know what the fight was about and i don't know, maybe the manager was in the wrong but i do know that the owner should know better than to verbally and physically abuse and swear at a staff member in front of their colleagues and most definitely not in front of customers (all those in smooch). Never mind hitting the poor guy. I am completely disgusted that an owner could treat the people who make you your money in that manner.
We wont be back based purely on principle!
