I called the Dstv call centre trying to get a new account and because I'm a foreigner they informed me I need to go to the nearest branch to get it done. I asked what was needed and was informed i only need my passport, proof of address and do not need to take the decoder with me. I went to the Wynberg office in Cape Town to get my account and the lady refused to help me as she said i needed to carry the decoder. They need to see it before giving me an account. As a business you cant have people saying different things. All I want is an account please tell me what the proper process is!!!
