Multichoice
Incompetent consultants

I phoned multichoice on 21 April for the firt time when I started having problems with my DSTV. The lady I spoke to informed me that my decoder is faulty. We tried exchanging it at 3 different branches in Kemton Park, all of them had no stock. I in the meantime got an Installer out to replace the LNB and check all the wiring. Trying to exchange my decoder again over the past weekend got me the same answer as a week ago, NO STOCK!! I ended up borrowing my dad's decoder, which did not work obviously as my smartcard is silicone coated. Nobody at multichoice was trained well enough to tell me that until I had a screaming match with the supervisor on duty on Sunday 28 April 2013!!

All these phone calls and time spent on something as stupid as a DSTV decoder cost me over R800!! More than a week of not being able to enjoy my DSTV that is paid up to date, petrol for driving back and forth to try and get my decoder exchanged and airtime!!

How is multichoice compensating me for all my expenses???
I am shocked to realise that the people who are supposed to assist and "know more than me" actually know nothing at all! I was not even informed to suspend my account until its rectified!
