I have recently purchased a DSTV explora decoder on the 23/09/2013. From day one I just have had poor service from DSTV. I have spent more than 4HRS on my cell phone trying to resolve the problem with DSTV.
I returned the product to Pick n Pay this afternoon due to the machine now being faulty. Exchanged within 5 mins with no hassle at all. Set up the new decoder and spent another 20 mins waiting for a consultant to pick up the phone. Consultant spent another 25 mins trying to pair the decoder and smartcard. After being on the phone for 45 mins I told the consultant I am hanging up.
My decoder is still not working. But i am expected to pay the full month's subscription and my cell phone bill. I think this sort of service is absolutely 3rd world service and I would like feedback ASAP or I am going to cancel my subscription with immediate effect.
