Consultant at call centre is useless

I spent 20 mins on the phone trying to get my decoder sorted. My decoder does not record, it pauses and rewinds. The guy on the other side sounds like he does not know what's going on, it sounds like he is getting the info he wants off the Internet and reading from there . 20 mins on my cell phone and then the call is dropped.
All I want is my decoder to record, but speaking to useless people I not helping much... get people that know what they need to do and not try and read it off the Internet.
