Area Manager comes into store to assist with a basic customer exchange/Refund on a board game that was suggested to us by a staff member indicating that this would be the appropriate couples game which in fact wasn't! The Companies Area Manager, a Coloured Gentleman, met us in the store, and constantly busy on his phone, made no gesture to acknowledge we were in the store & standing right in front of him. after a lengthy wait he finally greeted us, and told us bluntly he will not refund us our monies, and did not care about the customers consumer act and said that Adult World does not have to conform to the new Consumer Act that came into play last year. Finally, We were given the option of choosing one of three board games that would be dispatched from their HQ, still without the option of getting our money back. We settled with a different game as we felt forced into choosing another game. on exiting the store, we wished the store staff a good day further whereby the response from the area manager to my Wife was calling her " A Little " and slammed the stores security gate behind us. We were shocked! Still we haven't heard from Adult world regarding our game being sent
