Had company conference at Sun city and wore tekkies on 2nd day whilst setting up. Got into room late Wed 21/8 kicked off shoes and went to bed. Woke up at around 1h30 Thurs morning and felt like someone was in my room. Went to check patio door and fiund it was open around 15cm gap. Housekeeping closed curtains before i was in room and i didnt check before going to bed too exhausted. On Sunday when packing to leave 25 Aug realised tekkies were missing. Reported to Cascade reception had to do affidavid. Got feedback 7September from Patrick Serakwane stating they take no accountability for loss and hope they can rely on my future patronage!!! What a joke they dont realise the stress on a woman alone in her room finding a door open at night and the realisation that it is NOT a safe environment and the fact that my stuff was taken means NOTHING to them. I wasted my time reporting it in an Affadavid where i had to state the value of my tekkies. I think it is shocking so lock up your stuff and if it gets taken dont bother reporting it. Sun City Cascades dont care but you need to understand and come back again! Wow this was a fantastic experience in client service for R800 worth of tekkie
