I am very curious to know what the criteria was to get R500 free gaming credits?? On Saturday night (20 July) there were hoards of people queing for their gaming credits that they had received via SMS. I am a regular player at Carnival and would like to know what the criteria was to receive this? Was it only for Platinum Cardholders?? To make it worse, all the tellers were busy with the promotion and there were only 2 tellers on duty (I really felt sorry for them because they were getting flack from everyone!), the reason I had to use the cash desk was because my card "locked" - it took nearly an hour for this to be sorted out because then the money that was on my card disappeared and a report had to be pulled. They could not find the report so they called for a technician who was extremely helpful (wish I had taken his name) he took my card and managed to pull a report where he found the money and loaded it back on to my card for me. So all in all it was quite a frustrating night.
