I purchased a PVR decoder based on the information given by DSTV sales lady. I have Extra View with a twin LNB on the dish. Glenda assured me it is not neccessary to get an installer out. Its a plug and play system seen as I already have Extra View.
I spent - 1 hour on the phone cancelling my old smartcard, and registering the new system that had to be activated. We discovered that the PVR needs 2 Satelite cables that I dont have. the system functionality requires 2 wires in. I am unable to record. THIS IS WHY YOU BUY A PVR!
I went back to Glenda and she assured me she will sort the matter out. I have called her twice on her cell phone and she says I should return the PVR for a refund. She has not called me back, gave me misleading information and expects me to pay for an installtion or simply return the equipment.
I have been a customer of Multichoice for over 10 years. Is this how they treat their customers.
I want DSTV / Multichoice to send somebody from their company to sort this out!
