I recently purchased a standard dstv package for R599 that included an installation voucher to one point. After scheduling my standard installation with Elsat, they arranged for Alex Electrical to do the installation in Pietermaritzburg. Although the installation was standard, the installer still charged me R350 extra stating that it is extra labour to get onto the roof. This is utter nonsense. This installer obviously has his own rates that is not in alignment with the voucher system that dstv offers.. I will be cancelling my subscription purely on the basis that multichoice and its so called "accredited supliers" are misleading its customers and screwing us over.. Becareful out there people... at the end of the day the customer always loses.
