Genesis did a bad job developing the complex I bought in. From unlevel door frames to bad tiling & plastering, the list of problems are endless & the worst thing is that as time goes by the more careless problems come to light. There clearly was no passion behind the planning & developing of this project & it was clearly a matter of just making money fast without the least concern for people buying & living in these houses. Just like many, I've committed to paying for a bond over many years & quite frankly its for a property that I'm not satisfied with. Its for a property that I'm unhappy with, a property that my wife & I wanted to make a home. It would be good for the consumer if banks/specific body could enforce stricter rules & regulations/quality control around developments before approving these projects. Its too late for me with this property, but not with future properties I'll buy because I've experienced Genesis. Its also too late for many other people that have already bought Genesis properties but its not too late for you thats looking to buy a new development as I advise buyers to look elsewhere as Genesis are clearly a business with 1 goal which is to make money & not build homes
