I am renting a townhouse through Genesis Letting. When signing the contract, i was promised heaven & earth in regards to customer satisfaction and assistance by 1 Cecil Bond. Its been 7 months now & that is yet to be seen. I cannot get anyone to attend to repairs to my unit, yet EVERY month without fail, Cecil is emailing me asking for proof of payment of rent!! How does one work when they cant even keep proper records of clients payments??
When asked as to the issues concerning the unit, Cecil simply replies: once proof is received, it shall be sorted out!! Im still waiting for that!
A new approach taken by Mr Bond is passing the buck to a Hilda Scholtz, who is even more useless than he is which isnt much of a suprise that they are associated with each other.
And if that isnt enough, the complex in which i am residing doesnt even have a body corporate. So any problems occuring at night cannot be dealt with. It has to be left till morning, whereby a mail has to be sent to Genesis. Even then the matter isnt addressed!!
Anybody in the market for either buying/renting property, please do yourself a huge favour and DO NOT go via Genesis Letting as this is 1 pathetic company!!
