Failure to return deposit and bullying tactics

We recently vacated a premises we rented via Remax (1st of Jan). We completed the move without incident, exit inspection was done the same evening and got a signed report that everything is 100%,

The following week we began receiving phone calls from a gentleman claiming to be one of the body corporate stating that we are responsible for leaving the unit and surrounding areas in a poor state (Rubbish and damaged tiles). We disposed of rubbish in the normal way and the tiles spoken of were broken prior to the move.

Remax (Proprentors) are now withholding the Deposit (Past the 7days already) and is trying to deduct the cost of repairs for the Tiles without our consent or any proof that we are responsible.

This is blatant and bullying tactics to force us to pay for repairs we were not responsible for.
