I found Bugs & Sparks on Google as they were the first guys to come up in a search.
They came out for a supposed 'free' inspection. I had recently had all my electrical updated. I was expecting an invoice with just the cost of the inspection.
However, they managed to find several 'FAULTS' and quoted me R11 620 to fix them. I was shocked as I had recently had everything done up to SANS 10142 Regulations.
I had another electrician come in and he managed to fix their supposed faults for R2 000.
THese guys run a blackmailing type of business. They come in, knowing that the clients aren't clued up, and send them extorionist invoices. If you refuse to pay the still try and bill you for the inspection.
AVOID THESE AT ALL COSTS!!!
