I am currently renting through Rawson Properties Centurion. Once I have moved in we went through the house and took pictures of all the faults. I have sent them an inventory sheet which had faults of every room of the house.
The colour of the walls inside was salmon which is a mixture of orange and brown. The previous tenant had water/flood damage and water streaks were clearly visible in our living-, dining- and 2 bed -rooms. The previous tenant fixed holes all over with polyfilla which is white against the salmon colour. I requested that the owner paint the house (inside only) but after 2 and a half months I decided to paint the house as we feel embarrassed of how the place looks.
I have also requested that they fix the other faults: replace broken shower doors, replace 6 missing globes, 5 broken door locks, stove element, electricity wall socket, blocked drain, broken drawer and veranda wall that was busy falling with missing lintel. They still need to replace the shower doors, all the globes, 1 lock and electricity wall socket. They have fixed the veranda wall but have damaged some tiles. I don't know what to do anymore as I get a "don't care" attitude from Rawson Centurion.
