During the last week of Oct my husband and I were informed of his job promotion to begin on Nov 4th. We had about 48 hours to find a place in Gauteng (moving from Durban) pack-up & hit the roads.
We saw a unit in Midrand, contacted Lorraine (agent) at Pretor Group immediately. All of the docs that she sent was filled & sent back with full required deposit. After the deposit the agent went on leave and made no contact. We were stranded with our stuff on a truck to Midrand already and no news from the agent. I contacted her manager, Wilma, and she seemed disinterested in my concern and that had me wonder if it was because I was Indian or..because I was Indian..
Eventually another agent brought us the key and for the last 30 days we have got no feedback from Lorraine. Today we get a call that our first payment is late and the debit order we knew will go off on the 1st did not. We made contact and they stated that they did not receive our debit order form, only thing is, they did not give us one. Was she too quick to hurry on leave? Where was she all this time?
Pretor have been unprofessional and we found them, is this Pretoria culture or just Pretor after all...
