Pretor Estates - Customer focused???

I thought that our managing agent would always act in our/their clients best interest. After rumors had risen about a handling fee that is charged by Pretor for work done at their client's premises, by contractors that they send out to do such work, i became skeptical. It seemed now that it is more about how they can maximize their bottom line than actually delivery a quality service.

Example: an insurance claim to fix our mechanized gate in March which led to further damage. Instruction was given that the contractor must come back and re-install the damaged (under warranty) components. To this day Pretor has yet to instruct the contractor. The buck gets passed to the contractor for not getting back to Pretor or it is passed to the trustees -who Pretor keep requesting instruction from. This after the initial instruction had been given months ago to sort out the mess that their preferred contractor had made.

It seems that they prefer to protect the relationship with their contractors rather than their clients.
