If you can help yourself, never ever rent from Buying Service, a small property company in Cape Town which you have probably never heard of. You will wait more than a year for basic maintenance, you will never receive a response on your emails, but it will be expected of you to respond to their emails within 24 hours. They contract the cheapest labourers to do things like kitchen renovations which results in extremely bad end products and they never ever keep to their word. They have no pride whatsoever in their property as their investments and will not do basic maintenance to your flat unless you threaten that you will do it yourself and send them the invoices. Down right bad attitude, empty promises, no work etiquette, extremely inconsiderate, unprofessional.
