On the 01st Oct we moved into a lovely home, real estate agent was very friendly and assured us that all paperwork will done correctly. Our first months rent and deposit was paid into the Midrand AIDA trust fund and then when it came to asking our agent for the owners banking details in order to make payment she, did not follow correct procedures and e-mailed the account details to us instead of filling out the banking details document and then sending that to us. Then some how the details got changed, (first accusing my husband of ding it, cos hes in IT), then we arranged meeting with them and they assures us they would be there but once again they where not. The agent and manager of AIDA Midrand are now avoiding us and are on "sick leave" as we were told bu=y their receptionist. The agent states the deposit was paid to the owner and the owners bank records state otherwise. When this whole situation came to her attention she started contacting me during the NIGHT with the owner at her offices threatening that I must be out by the weekend. We are now getting our lawyers involved.
