I rented a property from Uvest letting for over a year. During that time we struggled with getting any maintenance issues in the flat sorted out by them.
We moved out of the property on the 30/04/2013 and the exit inspection was only done a week later. We were told by the inspector that the property was in good condition. A week and half, later after much struggle with uvest letting, we received a quote deducting more then half of our deposit. Some of the issues on the quote were maintenance issues we reported during our rental term and no one came to fix. Some charges were for removing nails that were there when we had moved into the property. Emails have been going back and forth for over a week about the quote, and there is no resolve.
The 2 ladies that I dealt with in regard to this have been abrupt and unhelpful. We have received bad customer service from Uvest letting for the year that we rented from them. They have unhelpful and not communicated there buisness processes well with us. They did not advise us about how to report maintenance issues and no one follows up with the reports that are logged. We have had such a bad experience with Uvest letting.
