Illegally advertising and slande

We lease a property and have quite some time left on our lease!
When we saw a to let sign go up at our neighbours gate, a friend called the agent as he was interested in the property when Elsie told him it was infract the property next door to where the sign is up (my house) when he asked her for photos or a viewing she said she can't arrange it as the tenants is there illegally and won't open for them to view or take pictures!
This is all and unacceptable!
